Why do we use Scrum?
We use the established Scrum method in our software development. This agile framework enables us to work efficiently, quickly achieve partial results, respond flexibly to changes, and strengthen the relationship between developer and customer, even across national borders.
The use of Scrum as an agile development tool is particularly important in international projects. Scrum’s clear structure enables efficient coordination and prioritization of tasks, which is especially advantageous for our international teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Agile software development thrives on close relationships with customers.

What is Scrum?
Scrum is a model or method of agile project management. The term comes from rugby, where Scrum refers to a dense group of players who gather around the ball (German: Scrum).
Applied to agile project management, this means that in Scrum, all project members meet daily to discuss upcoming tasks and review the project’s progress.
There are also additional rules and methods that help achieve goals. This approach is designed to replace the often cumbersome and inflexible project planning processes, making project management more agile.
In a Scrum project, there are a few simple rules designed to support the project team in achieving its shared project goals.
SCRUM
The Benefits of Scrum
Scrum boosts productivity, enhances collaboration, adapts quickly to changes, and ensures high-quality deliverables through iterative development.
Speed
We can present initial results within a short period of time. Projects are implemented in phases, leading to rapid partial results.
Transparency
Regular communication with our customers about project progress is an important part of agile development. As a customer, you are involved in the entire process and gain insights into our work.
Flexibility
Feedback from customers can be received and incorporated directly. Developments moving in the wrong direction are quickly identified and corrected in subsequent stages.
SCRUM
The Scrum Roles
Scrum roles include the Product Owner, who manages the backlog; the Scrum Master, who facilitates the process; and the Development Team, who delivers the product increment.
The Product Owner
The Product Owner represents the users of the product or the project stakeholders, i.e., all those impacted by and invested in the project’s success. The Product Owner must internalize the customer's wishes and communicate the corresponding demands to the project team.
The Scrum Master
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the Scrum process. Acting as a moderator for the project team, the Scrum Master removes obstacles, promotes effective collaboration within the team, procures necessary resources, and serves as the main contact person for external parties.
Our Development Team
Our development team is interdisciplinary, ensuring that the entire team can work independently and autonomously. All the skills and expertise required for a project are combined within the team, enabling the agreed tasks and goals of each sprint to be achieved.
SCRUM
The Scrum Process
The Scrum process is an Agile framework that emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and iterative progress to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
Creating and Maintaining a Product Backlog
A product backlog is compiled and prioritized based on the Product Owner's requirements. The product backlog is a collection of all the functions and features the product should include.
Sprint Planning
During Sprint Planning, the tasks for the next sprint are defined, and the sprint goal is formulated. Individual tasks or tickets are then recorded in the Sprint Backlog.
Daily Scrum
In the daily 15-minute meeting, known as the Daily Scrum, each team member reports in turn: what they have accomplished since the last Daily Scrum, what they plan to accomplish before the next Daily Scrum, and any obstacles hindering their progress.
Sprint Review
In the Sprint Review, the results of the sprint are reviewed and accepted by the Product Owner. The results then serve as the foundation for the next sprint cycle.
Sprint Retrospective
The team continually reflects on its collaboration during the Sprint Retrospective, enabling improvements in future project processes.
